Other Authors of Color in Speculative Fiction (besides me.)
Believe it or not, I get asked about this at least once at EVERY single convention I go to because the fact is that it is rare to see a Black woman selling a sci-fi novel that she has written at a sci-fi convention. The lack of awareness about other authors of color in this incredible genre saddens me. The interest in learning more warms my heart to no end. :-) This little list is my attempt to address the question "Are there more authors of color writing speculative fiction?" The answer is HELL YEAH! The list below is just the tip of the iceberg. Once you get going, check out this list on Goodreads for other books that will tickle your fancy, while blowing your mind.
